beam and anchor at home

if you live in portland, you've probably heard of the gorgeous home store beam and anchor.
the store is full of beautiful hand made things, from furniture to jewelry, and much of it is made locally.
i recently had the opportunity to photograph beam and anchor's owners in their lovely north portland home.  they are a lovely couple, and being around their one year old boy-girl twins brought back so many sweet memories.

i had a blast meeting kristen on the morning of her 30th b-day, and shooting her fabulous northwest portland condo (just a few days before she packed the place up and moved to nyc!).  her commitment to a black & white aesthetic and graphic vibe is impressive!  

even better yet...i woke up this morning to see my tour of her condo on the apartment therapy instagram feed.  AT has *just a few more* followers than i do, so the exposure is super exciting!

since meeting sara at my kids' school earlier this year, we have become friends, and had the pleasure of working together on her apartment therapy home tour.  she is lovely, and so is her north portland home.  what a fun project this was!

thinking back to fall photos

remember when the trees still had leaves, and the air still had a little tiny bit of summer warmth?  here in portland, we are in the depths of winter, and looking at these sweet photos that i took just a couple months ago of the stonich family makes me wistful for the golds of fall!
