take two lifelong friends, add in their wonderful significant others and their handsome sons, and you've got a portrait session filled with a whole lotta love.  

(and bonus: we shot at one of portland's most unique parks, and one couple got engaged in the middle of the shoot!!)

i had such a lovely evening with sarah and zach at mt. tabor earlier this month- the light was perfect, and i loved the natural beauty of our surroundings.  i am looking forward to photographing their wedding at the coast in a few weeks!

gary & emy

at the beginning of december i was in colorado with my family, and i took a few photos of my brother-in-law and his girlfriend. i love the dirt road and rural landscape in these images, and just last week these two got engaged, so these photos mean even more to me now. congratulations gary and emy, i am very happy for you both!

caroline+dorian

caroline and dorian are getting married in just a couple weeks in portland and i am looking forward to being there to document their day. we took their engagement photos in the gorgeous yard of their new home, just outside seattle. it was wonderful working with these two and with dorian's son, drew.
