warm smiles, cold day

the messina family ventured out with me on a very chilly seattle day not long ago.  we had originally planned to take portraits at golden gardens, but the wind and temps were too extreme.  luckily, this little neighborhood park in ballard worked out, and despite numb fingers and noses, we got some great shots.

it has been a pleasure photographing this sweet family over the years!

sweet fall family portraits

a couple weekends ago, i met up with the lauren, chris and their adorable little guy during a perfectly timed break in the rain.  this lovely family of three (soon to be four!!) and i explored portland's laurelhurst park with a toddler as our guide, and took photos all along the way.  colorful leaves, puddles galore, ducks in the pond, and stairs to climb- it was such a fun portrait session!
