sweet fall family portraits

a couple weekends ago, i met up with the lauren, chris and their adorable little guy during a perfectly timed break in the rain.  this lovely family of three (soon to be four!!) and i explored portland's laurelhurst park with a toddler as our guide, and took photos all along the way.  colorful leaves, puddles galore, ducks in the pond, and stairs to climb- it was such a fun portrait session!

nicole and devin's fun and sunny wedding day was sweet, relaxed, and full of love.  north portland's peninsula park made a stunning backdrop for the ceremony and portraits, and then the party continued at the colony, a great event space in st. john's.

shooting a wedding this past weekend at my gorgeous alma mater with two dear friends (who are both talented photographers!) was a dream. come. true.

mahfia sessions portland

last month i covered the portland mahfia sessions, a networking event for women in the action sports industry.  the first day of the event was a happy hour on the gorgeous back patio of ron tom's, and day two was a panel discussion at the unique and modern union/pine.  the energy, drive, and style of this group of women (and men) was inspiring and so much fun to be around.

recently i had the opportunity to photograph a production of "let a hundred flowers bloom" at portland's defunkt theatre.  it was an energizing and exciting experience to be a part of live theater, even if i was only there taking promo photos! 
my images made appearances in many of portland's arts publications, from the willamette week, to the oregon arts watch, to pq monthly.
