one last time at laurelhust

i have been photographing this sweet family over the past few years, and have truly enjoyed watching them grow.  portland's laurelhust park has been their location of choice, and before they relocated to california this fall, they wanted one last portrait session surrounded by oregon greenery.

kelly and dave are down-to-earth, stylish, and were kind enough to open their home to me and apartment therapy.  their chicago abode is full of beautifully crafted objects, many of which kelly carries in her logan square boutique, and the upstairs space is a cozy retreat that the couple designed and created themselves.

Carkeek Park is pretty much my favorite place to take photos in Seattle, and this family is near and dear to my heart. 
Beautiful location + wonderful people = Job love!

miles and maguire celebrate one!

miles and maguire are pals.  they play together most days, and their moms are close friends, too.  together they had the sweetest little one year old birthday party on a sunny summer day at sellwood park.  friends and family came from near and far to celebrate these two very loved little people, and i had the pleasure of documenting it all.

urban family portraits

nicole and paul wanted an urban, industrial look for their family portraits, so we met up in portland's pearl district where there are a variety of walls and backgrounds that fit the bill. 
this session was especially sweet as their daughter is leaving for college in just a couple weeks, and the family wanted to document this summer together.
