 the architecture of chicago is simply stunning.  i saw and photographed much of it from the river, and would highly recommend the architectural foundation's tour- it was a fantastic way to see the city!

girls rock! chicago

i was absolutely thrilled to be at opening day of girls rock! chicago this summer.  the organization is inspiring and so much fun, and even though my daughters are still too young to attend, i couldn't help but picturing them here, with all of these talented, smart young women.

sweet santa monica babies

i was in southern california last week seeing old friends, and i had the privilege of meeting three-week-old enzo, and visiting with the rest of his lovely family.  truly, this was a social call, but i couldn't leave without snapping a few quick shots of the brand new baby boy, his adorable 17-month old sister and their lovely parents.
