recently i was in seattle to photograph a corporate event at the seattle public library's central branch. the event itself was in the library's dimly lit auditorium, but during my lunch break i ran around like a kid in candy store admiring the stunning colors and interior spaces that rem koolhaas designed. i love the electric green escalators, the hot pinks and pop art in the children's section, and the letter carvings in the wood floor. the views of downtown through the blue latticework walls are incredible, too. what a thrill it was to work here for a day!

gorgeous baby girls!
i last photographed della and greer when they were just a few weeks old, and it was so much fun to see these beautiful girls again! our portrait session was full of action and movement as these two are walking, crawling and playing at high speeds. the master bedroom had gorgeous light and colors, and is where i got my favorite images of the day. what you don't see is the twins' mom rachel on the sidelines ready to catch the girls before they crawled, jumped or tumbled off the bed. thanks, rachel! their mama is one busy woman, juggling three year old son bram, and two adorable one year olds!
