reach the beach weekend

for me, the "reach the beach" ride is more about a weekend with friends than about the bike ride (although i am very proud of my pals who rode the 100 miles last saturday!). this year was extra special because there are three new additions to our crew: true erbeck, born one week after the ride last year, and otto and oliver pasley, just a couple months old now. i loved hanging out with everyone at the house, walking on pacific beach at dusk, and taking some of the first family portraits of the pasleys. what an amazing weekend!

engaged at the grotto

it was so nice to meet cindy and kevin at the grotto yesterday and spend some time getting to know them. the grounds there are lush and serene, and it is also the spot where kevin proposed to cindy last december! i am looking forward to spending more time with this fun, down to earth couple during their wedding weekend in july.

victoria and jon's afternoon in the park

photographing victoria and jon's wedding in seattle last weekend was a dream! the couple was completely wonderful to work with, and their event was the absolute epitome of casual elegance. volunteer park was a gorgeous backdrop for their afternoon ceremony, and the frisbee playing and reception that followed. congratulations you two!
